We've found an organization the can help!
Riley County and City of Manhattan Food and Farm Council
The Council receives no city or county funding support. Funds are needed for general operating expenses, including staff time. The Council serves as the local food system hub of partners coordinating initiatives to decrease food insecurity, decrease food waste, increase access to local, healthy foods, and provide food skills and food safety education.
The FFC has established a donation fund with the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) to help sustain our initiatives:
Mail checks with FFC on the memo line to GMCF, PO Box 1127, Manhattan, KS. 66505
For annual giving, contact Vickie James, FFC Coordinator.
Kitchen Restore
Kitchen Restore is a community donation initiative of the Food and Farm Council of Riley County and City of Manhattan. We work to provide “starter kits” containing gently used or new household kitchen tools and equipment to individuals and families. In order to keep this initiative thriving, we need the help of our community!
You can help in many different ways!
- Donate gently used or new household kitchen tools and equipment
- Cash donations: online or checks can be written to GMCF with FFC/Kitchen Restore on the memo line and mailed to:
GMCF, PO Box 1127, Manhattan, KS, 66505
