Cats’ Cupboard: The K-State Food Pantry

A campus food pantry providing perishable & non-perishable food, hygiene products, and gently used kitchen supplies to currently enrolled K-State students, with limited eligibility for University staff.

Salvation Army Family Store and Donation Center

A thrift and consignment store accepting donations and providing affordable clothing, toys, and household goods. Kitchenware starter kits available.

Shepherd’s Crossing

Assist with rent, utilities and prescriptions. Help cover the expense of birth certificates and i.ds plus submission of Fairy Godmother and Guardian grants, and vision grants. Clothing vouchers for the Encore Shop, Budget Shop and Salvation Army. Kitchenware starter kits provided.

To qualify
Be a resident of Riley Co. and Pottawatomie Co. with addresses of Manhattan and St. George. Intake with a counselor to determine income/expenses and assistance needed.

USD 383 FIT Closet & Clothing Exchange

Free clothing, shoes, coats/jackets, school supplies, personal hygiene products, and kitchenwares to qualified USD 383 students and their immediate families

To qualify
1.Student enrolled in a school within USD 383 (Manhattan-Ogden), includes Manhattan Catholic Schools, Flint Hills Christian School and home-educated.
2. Student must also qualify for the free/reduced lunch program.
