Cats’ Cupboard: The K-State Food Pantry

A campus food pantry providing perishable & non-perishable food, hygiene products, and gently used kitchen supplies to currently enrolled K-State students, with limited eligibility for University staff.

Community Food Basket Serving Northern Riley

The Community Food Basket is a food pantry serving area residents from the western boundary of Manhattan to the northern part of the county.  Qualifications , Proof of address, limited income guidelines.
Hours 10am-12 Noon Saturdays.

Ten churches in the area work together to provide food and volunteers for the Pantry.   The partnering churches are:

Randolph United Methodist Church,
Leonardville United Methodist Church,
Keats United Methodist Church,
Walsburg Lutheran Church,

Flint Hills Breadbasket

A food pantry for Manhattan residents who are experiencing food insecurity. The Breadbasket is a community food network that collects and distributes food through church pantry vouchers, commodity programs, backpack programs, and assists with applications for government food programs Check website for hours/change in services.

Harvesters

Harvesters is a regional food bank that serves a 26-county area and supports more than 760 nonprofit agencies working to provide food and household products to those in need. Harvesters offers education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about nutrition. Mobile distributions, BackSnack and other programs are offered to Riley County residents through Harvesters and partnering agencies. Mt. Zion Pantry

Open Wednesdays 4-6pm

No qualifications required.

Ogden Friendship House

A food pantry, thrift store, and emergency financial aid. Check Facebook page for current hours.

Peace-Full Pantry

The Peace-full food pantry is now open to the Manhattan Community.
We are here to ensure your home pantry is full because
all people deserve a healthy meal, no questions asked.
Enter the west church door on
Sundays between 2 and 4 p.m.,
Tuesdays from 2 and 5 p.m., or
Thursdays from 5 and 7 p.m.
No restrictions, qualifications, hoops to jump through.  Come as needed and get enough food to get you through the week.

Temple of Peace Pantry

Mondays & Thursdays 12-3pm

Saturdays 8am-12pm
