Willow Lake KSU Student Farm

We hold volunteer workdays open to the public on Saturday mornings throughout the growing season. If you’re interested, please get in touch!

The Willow Lake Student Farm strives to provide quality produce and educational opportunities to the K-State campus and Manhattan communities. With a focus on sustainable food production, the farm serves as a site for undergraduate and graduate research, student engagement, and production of a variety of fruit, vegetable, and mushroom crops. Supported by a combination of staff, student leadership, and community volunteers, the Student Farm sells its produce to the university’s dining centers and a seasonal campus farm stand. Produce not sold to support its operating expenses are donated through partnerships with the Cats’ Cupboard and Flint Hills Breadbasket.
